24 Hour Rave Experiment app for iPhone and iPad

In December of 2013, planning began for an experiment. An experiment which puts the human body to the limit. With that, the 24 Hour Rave was born.

What started as a plan to simply support charity soon snowballed into a viral monster with word spreading as far as the famous New York City. By May 2014, the date had been set. Within a day of tickets going on sale however, it’d already outgrown it’s venue. A warehouse next door was sourced and a street arranged to be closed.

That wasn’t enough though. Demand kept increasing, and so the 24 Hour Rave decided to move to The Rainbow Venues and customise each room. Then add five more raving spaces. Then shut two more streets to accommodate street parties. 24 Hour Rave is clearly not just an experiment, but a phenomenon.

So what’s the catch? This is an experiment after all. Well, if you’re caught sleeping, you’re thrown out. Everyone will start, but who will finish together? Our app allows attendees to take photos and post them to an event stream and our website, building an incredibly unique overview of the experiment; minute by minute, hour by hour.

Pre-rave, attendees meet each other by using our app. During the event, attendees create the story. Those who can’t make it chip in and watch the experiment unfold. Post-event, attendees can use the app to relive, or more likely remember their night.
